We are located just 3 miles North of St. Rose & 6 miles East of Highland on Fricker Road. 

     Kevin Grapperhaus, owner of Grapperhaus Metal Company, started working in the scrap metal business while still in high school.  He found a job working for a company in E. St. Louis when the yard he worked for in Clinton County, IL closed its doors.  In 1981 he started his own company on the family farm while still holding his job in E. St. Louis.  In 1992, Kevin decided to run his company full time from his home. 
     Kevin expanded the business as he could and incorporated in January 1996. 

     Today the business operates with a small fleet of semi trucks, luggar trucks, pickup trucks, ton trucks, semi trailers, luggar boxes, roll-off containers, dump hoppers, and totes.
